DEFNE SPICES has been established in Izmir, Turkey in 2001; to supply world spice sector with mediterranean/middle - east herbs&spices.
Today, we are exporting our products to more than 25 countries all around the world.
We transform raw material to high quality, customer tailor made, ready to use finished product in our modern facilities. Depending upon the customer demand, we supply our spices in whole, cut, calibrated, ground, sterilized forms. Our program covers conventionel, organic and sustainable products.
DEFNE SPICES is ISO 22000, HALAL, KOSHER, FDA, ORGANIC EU & NOP certified.
DEFNE SPICES has been conducting a project with suppliers and farmers about sustainability since 2015.
As a part of our project, DEFNE SPICES organizes training programs for farmers to increase their sustainable farming systems awareness.
DEFNE SPICES believes that; natural resources are getting more scares and we are not going to be able to leave plentiful natural sources to future generations. Protecting the globe natural sources in a sustainable way, should be our top priority goal. Within this framework DEFNE SPICES aims to improve and extend sustainability project for the future of all.
DEFNE SPICES has been certified for organic production since 2007.
In 2016, DEFNE SPICES started its own organic plantation projects in several areas for wide range of products in herbs&spices.
DEFNE SPICES will continue to develop its organic program in herbs&spices in the years ahead.
Traceability has a major importance for food sector all over the world. It is also vital for sustainable and organic production.
